I'm a high-ranking member of one of the Factions in Megatokyo, the Followers of Great Teacher Largo. I'm currently the head of weapons R&D, and seem to have been stuck with managing the armoury and new recruits, as well. On top of this, I hunt the undead, and pick up mercenary work every so often, when I get bored.
I'm technically british, although I'm not sure how official it is. The problem with it is that after I dropped out of university, I went to America and joined the army, and got declared legally dead.
That's where it got confusing. They used me as a subject in a super-soldier program, the 'Advanced Land Warrior' project. The general gist of that was computer implants in my head, protein-based cell-repair nanomachines added to my bloodstream, and a strength boost by way of hormone blockers and nanofiber muscle implants. The project failed, and they killed all remaining subjects by lethal injection.
It failed more than they realise, I recovered and broke out, and went into hunting vampires and other powerful undead. I'm not sure why I did that, since they messed up my memory pretty bad with all the brain sugery.
After a few years, I got an offer from the FGTL when it was just starting up. Turns out the leader had heard of me, and my talent for engineering. He offered me a decent salary, my own lab, and all the experimental equipment I could play with, in return for helping run the faction, and equipping them properly. Since then the character of the place has kinda rubbed off on me.
Since then I branched out into general mercenary work, and trying to stamp out other super-soldier projects to save other people the pain I've been through.
